Day 3, Sight #30: World's Largest Six Pack, La Crosse WI

We have had a few six packs in our day, and let us tell you, it is quite a bit of alcohol.  However, we didn't imagine how huge the cans in this six pack were!  We wonder if they are actually filled with beer...  Either way, that's enough to last a person more than a lifetime of drunkenness!  It was definitely the best experience of our lives!

Day 3, Sight #29: Gambrinus, King of Beer, La Crosse WI

This guy bears an uncanny resemblance to the other Gambrinus, doesn't he?  He is actually the same!  We didn't know that when we planned the trip. But this Gambrinus was still just as cool, except we didn't have Amanda this time.  It was definitely the best experience of our lives!

Day 3, Sight #28: The Wegner Grotto, Cataract WI

This small art grotto was absolutely gorgeous.  It was very similar to Nick Engelbert's Grandview Folk Art Environment in that the art consisted of broken glass and such pressed into concrete sculptures, except this art has a sharp twist.  Well, it's just sharp.  The broken glass edges stick out from the artwork and threaten to scrape or cut anyone who gets too close.  There's even a little church--getting married there would be fun.  It was definitely the best experience of our lives!

This used to be the Wegner home, so it's only fitting that as you walk in you see this.

Day 3, Sight #27: FAST: Fiberglass Statue Mold Yard, Sparta WI

We're sure if we'd have asked anyone from Sparta, they would've told us to pass over the statue mold yard.  We honestly weren't expecting much from it either, and were thinking we'd just be there a few minutes and leave.  However, the sun was rising and revealed a magical fantastical land before us...  At least that is what it felt like!  In the dewy grass were hundreds of strewn fiberglass molds.  It was like a child's playroom, really.  There were horses, elephants, and people among hundreds of other things!  We even found the ever-popular Big Boy mold!  It was an exciting place, we never knew what we'd see next.  Next time you are in Sparta, go check it out!  You won't be disappointed!  It was definitely the best experience of our lives!

Day 3, Sight #26: Deke Slayton Memorial Space and Bicycle Museum, Sparta WI

Here's another museum.  It was closed like the last one!  Actually, they were all in the same building, which would explain why they were all closed on Sundays.  We're sure they'd be cooler if they were open, oh well.  But we got a cool picture with Deke, and made great friends with him.  It was definitely the best experience of our lives!

Day 3, Sight #25: Masonic Temple, Sparta WI

In this museum was a masonic bucking goat.  We were confused.  And we weren't allowed to take photos here.

Well, that was a load of crap.  They weren't open on Sundays.  We didn't get inside.  So we took a picture outside of it.  Our next trip will be more thought-out.  For sure.  It was definitely the best experience of our lives!

Day 3, Sight # 24: World's Largest Bicyclist, Sparta WI

After a very rough night of sleep (and an awkward visit to Walmart in the morning), we headed to see the World's Largest Bicyclist.  He wasn't hard to find, as we could see him from the street!  At first we couldn't find anyone to take our picture, but then--surprise!  A bicyclist came up and offered to take our picture.  According to Roadside America, he was supposed to talk.  However, we couldn't make him say a peep.  It was definitely the best experience of our lives!
